Do the days in lockdown start to blur?
We're enforcing structure at our "homeschool". Kids are up at 7am, showered, beds made and ready for breakfast by 8:00am. Phones stay upstairs until 3. Lunch is 12 noon. Once 3 o'clock rolls around, I review homework, and kids
can read, watch TV, listen to audiobooks, play videogames, etc. It's like herding cats, but I hope it gets easier, because I think we've pretty much lost the rest of the school year.
Next week is "Spring Break" for my son, and the following week for my daughter. Those are going to be restless for them without homework/classes. I'm thinking of putting them to work on home projects, I think son is going
to help out with the cooking instead of trudging upstairs and claiming that
he "need food".
All the while, I'm trying to juggle remote support for my company and do devops from my home office. My wife is finishing up long hours at her office and should hopefully be here to help next week.
... State the problem as clearly as possible
