    - jewellery store
    - novelty store
    - gem/mineral store

Sit-down resaurants can operate as take-out, pickup or delivery, but
they can't allow seated customer service.

I think spa's, beauty salon, hair dresser, barber etc are also forced
close? I couldn't find them on the list but I didn't look to hard
either once I saw both Andrea and myself were essential service. (She
cleans walmart part time at night, and I drive a taxi when I can get a
shift which isn't often now (obviously).

How's the cleaning/taxi activity going? I'm not sure if it is prudent to
be in the confines of a car with people who you don't know were they've
been. Have you thought of the CERB option?

I am imaginging quite a few people now realize they might need a haircut
or that "regular" peticure. Those services are definitely not allowed in
our Ontario - mask or no mask.

I started cutting my own hair over 6 months ago, so I have lots of
    practice. :)

I am occupied with cleaning up php injections that occured in early
    March in some Wordpress installations.

I have lots of computer projects to do, but I just don't have the
motivation to do them. Would just rather watch youtube videos. LOL

I can empathize. I started watching Ancient Aliens after a friend
mentioned a couple of specific episodes. Now, they are starting to sound
the same. BUT.. there were some things like the plankton on the space station that I did not know about! They never mentioned whether the
plankton was alive or dead. LOL But their simulation showed little
squiggly things on the windows! LOL

I find that the TedX lectures are good, short, informational. They cover a vast variety of categories. It's easy to find a subject and binge on a
    topic for a while.

    Still plugging along!

Don't qualify for CERB. I haven't been laid off, and I don't have any
symptoms, nor can I answer the question that I have been around
someone with symptoms honestly. Andrea and I decided we'll work until
we get sick and when we do we'll claim CERB, but for now at least we
feel somewhat normal on the work days.

I started cutting my own hair over 6 months ago, so I have lots of practice. :)

I am starting to look like a monster. ;) I'm going to teach my wife
how to cut my hair Tuesday. She's willing. ;)

    Exactly... just something different.

Sorry. I assumed you were an independent driver/business. CERB is
currently only for 16 weeks only even though the last 4-week period is Aug30-Sep26. The people who applied last week will see the benift end on
July 4. So, if you are earning more than the monthly handout, you are
    ahead. Just don't get sick!

Note, one of the conditions of CERB is "You have stopped or WILL STOP
working due to reasons related to COVID-19"

So.. if anyone has heads up on the near future condition where they WILL
STOP working, then it is prudent to apply.

Many independent biz are shuttering up here. Mine is following suit next week. I really have no choice. This is economic homicide.

The 2 grocery stores (Nofrills and Foodland) in my town still have the restricted access and line-ups outside. But today, Foodland had an
employee asking medical questions (as per Ontario ministry of health, apparently) ..before allowing access. A simple cough could get someone booted out. If that was me, I would be expected to starve?

Good luck! You can always cover up a mistake with a hat! :)

    I am.

    I'm earning waaaaay less.

Note, one of the conditions of CERB is "You have stopped or WILL STOP working due to reasons related to COVID-19"

This is why I don't qualify. As of now I have not stopped I'm just on
waaaaaaaay less hours. So I'm waiting to see about the new program
announced the other day where they will top up your income to previous
    levels.

The town told the owner of the brokerage I work for, "If you close,
we're taking your license." So we're still running and I'm sure the
boss is losing money at a fevered pitch.

apparently) ..before allowing access. A simple cough could get

Yes. Even if the cough is from something else. I've had a dry cough
for years caused from a side effect to a BP med.

Good luck! You can always cover up a mistake with a hat! :)

    Totally! ;)
