It's a total shutdown / stay at home status that will run for four weeks to
start with. Supermarkets, Pharmacies will remain open but all schools and
business are shut and just a few essential services will remain open. The
message is 'be kind, stay home, save lives"
with what's happening here etc, plus my job is very full on right now with
public messaging work to the city I live in (all virus related urgent stuff
I and my team do) so I have not focused too much on things here.
Are any of those types of businesses included in your Level 4 lockdown?

Anywhoo all of which is to say I will try not to be a stranger and as things settle into a new normal over the coming days as I start to work from home etc. I'm hoping as near normal service and bad Dad jokes can resume :)

Head to covid19.govt.nz :) I think it's all there. But in short way
less businesses will be open compared to your country I think.

Very good that NZ is not waiting any longer, it's unavoidable anyway (South Korea being the exception). I wish we went into a more aggressive lock down a week earlier in Germany. We are still fine in comparison to Italy (or the US), but our numbers could be much lower.

Thanks, you also! It turned out to be just a rumor. There have been several people sent home for having symptoms or living with someone with symptoms but, so far, no positive tests.
Good news. Our cases keep rising but we locked down earlier than some countries so the hope is in the coming 2 weeks the totals reported will start to drop. Time will tell. Day 2 here and the place is very quiet
and with a weekend about to start it feels anything like a normal one.

There are a lot of things the President does not have control over in
