Hey y'all, are there any people in here who get a Fidonet feed from Vince
Coen in the UK? I haven't had any echomail or files hatched through Fido
since about 19th Jan, but I can see he's posted in for example Region25 echo this month... I don't have a connection issue, I can poll just find just there's nothing coming back for me...

Is anyone else set up to be a Region 25 hub or be able to feed me? Not sure what to do really as I've emailed him, just waiting to get a response.


Sorry to bring non fsxNet chitter into here, thought it would be a good place to start seeing as this is the busiest other network that I am attached to =)

I know I can get netmails from the FSX HUB as I just did an Areafix and got reply... not sure what else to look to for probable reasons why I don't get your netmail? :(

You just asked about this. Several systems have been offering feeds for those like me. Myself...I get my FidoNet feeds from Avon in New Zealand...even
though I live in Oregon.

I connect with him for a few message/file echos. It looks as though things
have been flowing... I'll take a closer look at the logs and verify.

I think I see a problem. There's a stuck packet from you in the HUB inbound, the logs show

+ Mar 18 20:52:59 Importing 11256531.PKT (1:229/426 to 21:1/100)
! Mar 18 20:52:59 No echomail node configured for 1:229/426

So it looks like a case of a packet being sent with your Fido AKA instead of the fsxNet one, that's why the 1/100 HUB doesn't know what to do with it.
