This one made it, you're correct if it's flagged only as Local then it's not left the building, is the base set to Echomail or Netmail, and had the
    mailout process run OK?

I'm just wondering why there wasn't the bot response to the message.

    It didnt meet the conditions.

The bot will only repond when messages are to "All" (case does matter), AND when the subject is only "test" (case does not matter).

I could change the "to" to be case insensitive I guess...

Looking again with Golded, it does have a tear and origin line. Looking at that message on BBBS it doesn't. The two blank kludge lines are an error of some sort and causes BBBS to drop the tear and origin line from the message.

Did want to let you know some of the issues about the files isn't happening now. They're coming thru very nicely!!!

I did not know you were having problems with files but I am glad to hear it is working for you as expected. If you ever have problem feel free to let me know.
I may not have a solution but I may be able to help if it's a connection problem of some sort.

Feel free to connect to any file areas you like, there are many more than just those OS/2 files. Netmail Filemgr or Filefix for help or to connect/disconnect any areas. There too.. if you have problems let me know and I'm sure we can get
that to do what you want it to do.

I haven't kept up much with the DOOMs recently but John Romero has released a new WAD for DOOM called Sigil. There is a link on his website at rome.ro.

For quake there are so many I could recommend. For a basic old school quake map
have a look at The Underkeep. You can grab it or just about any quake maps and mods at https://www.quaddicted.com. Here's a link for The Underkeep.

    https://www.quaddicted.com/reviews/jp1m2.html

Here's a link for Arcane Dimentions. This is a large game changing mod with new
episodes and maps. Grab the patch also from this page.

    https://www.quaddicted.com/reviews/ad_v1_70final.html

One of my favorites is Dimention of the past by J.F Gustaffson. This is a recent pack (2016) from an old time quake mapper.

    https://www.quaddicted.com/reviews/dopa.html

There are many more at quadicted. One more brand new pack, the first of what will be a four episode pack called Dwell. Be sure to get the upgraded version in the description rather than the main download. I haven't looked this one all
over yet but it looks good.

Yep, those all work well in linux. I'm not sure about leisure suit Larry, I don't have that one. Quake works well, I use Quakespasm and it seems to run any
mod or map well. I sometimes have to lower case filenames that are upper or mixed case so they work on linux.

I don't have a Pi so I've never tried that but I suspect those games could be made to work on a Pi.

"You have been playing this game for too long. It is time to remove you from the board!"

I still have to beat the expansion.

Also, if you need some middle ground between shooting things up and thinking, try Strife. Just beware it is a story oriented
game with plot branches which you can make unwinnable by siding with the wrong people and that sort of thing, so save often.
Other than that it is nice because it has some stealth and puzzle elements, but
it is a shooter game at heart.

Also, Heretic and the expansion where awesome. Its only real drawback is the weapons don't feel very distinct. It has some
inventory management which makes the game a bit more strategic ("should I use this powerup now od save it for later?"). I think
Heretic's inventory and powerups were what made the game unique.
