Was living out in Bullhead City, AZ in the middle of July when it was around 125 degrees F when the power went out for about 8 hours. Was bad keeping a
long haired cat & myself from being damaged without even having a fan.

After that...bought a netbook that I could use a USB evaporative cooler with...along with some battery powered fans.

It's cloudy and wet here today. Power was supposed to be back at 3pm,
but it's not yet maybe any minute now. I don't envy the guys working on
the lines in the rain. I guess the weather will make it take longer. At
least it's not hot would suck to have to throw out the contents of the
fridge and deep freeze again.

Here in Oregon...the one constant we have is usually 8 months of rain every year. Since I ride year round (can't afford a car & upkeep)...it's amazing I haven't died of pneumonia. Actually...am more terrified of the other drivers not seeing me.

If I remember right...kept the freezer closed...so the food was mainly a
solid mass. Seem to remember having the cat lick the water on the outside of
my soda can/bottle to keep her hydrated.

BTW...LOVE the image you just uploaded to the board. Have been looking at how to resize them to learn how to make them myself & work with the menu's & such.
