hey, nightfox! yea i moved to saint helens a few months ago.. new to pdx; we want to move down to st johns or somewhere in the city... at any rate, hello!

are you in this 'new bbs scene'? do you run a board? i got back into it through the raspberry pi hardware - i never even knew that i had a bunch of linux knowledge from the early 90s in between my ears... but its all coming back.

I ran a BBS in the 90s using RemoteAccess, which I shut down in 2000. Now I run a BBS using Synchronet, which I've been running since May 2007.

:) I got my own PC when I was 12 and started using BBSes at that time. I tried running a few BBS packages as well. I didn't fully understand what I was
doing at the time, and the only BBS package I got running was WWIV. But I didn't get my own phone line for my PC until a couple years later, and by that time, I was able to better understand software documentation and got my original Digital Distortion running with RemoteAccess.
