    I have received and email from someone I don't know but asking about the
    linux source code for this game as he would like to try and get it compiled
    for a modern OS.

    Does anyone know where this code is and/or is it available for this chap to
    try and do what he wants to do??

    I don't think it's opensource. g00r00 was the last person to compile it, though.
