I had visions of today being a Round-Toit day, but life had other ideas. Between life interveneing, #1 son going to his mothers early, and the missus settling in to watch Black Lightning again.... looks like tomorrows my day..

Then the IIgs will finally get its weird video to SCART cable. Its such a weird mode at 15kHz yup thats 15... something approximating CGA or EGA.. you can't feed it into most things LCD I was lucky enough to get one with a SCART input which opens up the possibility of RGB input with composite SYNC.. but got
a 13 lead cable to assemble to get it to go.

Seem to remember reading the Amiga folks have the same issue.

Could well be, there was a couple of commodore monitors that would hitch up to the GS, they're also like hen's teeth now. So there must've commodore/amiga's that had the same style output. SCART LCD's is a small time frame but at least its more recent. And from the GS experience a lot better than trying to convert it into 1080p.

They are a hot item for the Amiga's. I could be wrong...but would expect any system from that era would have the same issues of needing SCART.

You might be right, but the IIgs and whichever Amiga it is, are the only ones I
know, maybe one of the Atari's might be similar, something with how they decided to try and do graphics in about..... ~86 or so...

Very true. If that was the "standard" of the time...many of these
high-end 16-bit systems would try to emulate it.
