    My lady friend has android tablet, I use it once in a while. It's a handy device. I used it to access my server when I was in Alberta a few months ago. It's not quite linux but it's close.

    There are versions of Ubuntu that you can install to a tablet.

    There are versions of Ubuntu that you can install to a tablet.

    A Linux tablet would probably be based on a Raspberry Pi (or similar), so Raspian would proabably be the OS of choice.

    You can get one today. It's called a RasPad. I have one and it's pretty nice for what is. But less powerful than my 10 core Android tablet.
