    Hello The,

Using APT it says, “This APT has super cow powers.” What does this phrase mean?

I have been seeing that since early visions of apt, woody at least. It is just one of the apt developers sense of humor showing.

You see a similar sense of humour come out of DNETC, distributed network computing. Their keyserver always goes Moo. or some such with plenty of bovine
    action.

Been working at VMware for many years now and have come across all sorts of funny log messages in our products. For example, whenever a VM migrates from one host to another, the last message in the logging for the source host is "VMX has left the building!" - among many other examples. I think its great that developers can put little touches of humor in :)

VMware rocks for their Fusion product. Is it still user friendly like it was before? I find the others to be confusing as hell.

Yep, although to be honest, I think Fusion tries a little too hard to be user friendly. It seems that too many features and options are buried compared to VMware Workstation (on Windows/Linux). I have a mac and a windows machine,
and use both, but I prefer Workstation.

    Cheers,
    Mike

In apt-get "super cow powers" can be found by issuing the command apt-get moo. However, in aptitude issuing moo will give the user a prompt saying there are no Easter Eggs.
