Things are good in Texas! It's a grey day though and we are at 40
    degrees. F though, not C.
Glad you survived the concert. Rain and all. Hope it helped your
situation down under. I'm a hard rock and country guy, but always did like some of his stuff like Candle in the Wind.

    Thanks :)

Here were I am we've been somewhat removed from the worst of both drought or flooding so far... areas further north and south of us have been less lucky. South is somewhat flooded with areas evacuated as rivers look likely to
breech stop banks... while up north they are baking in 30C+ temps and
    desperate for water...

Today is a public holiday here (Waitangi Day) so I am not long out of bed and having just had some breakfast have hopped on the PC to have a read of echomail... which I reckon is one of the nicest ways to start a day.

What sorts of artists do you enjoy for the musical genres you listen to? I
can fire up my Spotify and have a listen :)

I guess this would be similar to our July 4? Just read up on it. So, similar to
when we got Manhattan from the natives for $27 in beads. Happy Holiday!

Most classics 50s,60s,70s,Motown,Hair Bands of 80s and 90s. The heavy stuff I like now is Five Finger Death Punch, Liliac, and All That Remains are a few. Old country, and new Texas independents. Today's modern country sucks. Even Loretta Lynn said country music is dead.

I am friends with Phil from ATR's ex-wife. Hung out with him a few times, didn't realize he was in a band. Funny. Nice dude.
