    Alrighty, so I found a python script that will talk to the thermometer, rather than messing around with hidraw etc, this was happy with just python3_serial with the output

    If you want extra details. I s'pose should I want to make some spiffy little daily graphs, or something, I'm going to have to log that data, otherwise I'm only immediately interested in importing the current temp into the web page, probably some PHP script. This thing has two sensors, internal and a remote, I'm unclear which one is which, but I guess cut everything off before 3.3, I suspect the value I want is the second one in between the - signs.
