In a little less than three weeks Wiarton Willie will emerge from his burrow and let us know whether we're in for an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

Rodent based weather prediction is a proven science ;) - I'm always hoping for an early spring.

Winter is finally just getting here, so I am doubtful for an early Spring in
my part of the world. One never knows though.

You must be in BC lol. It was -28 this morning in Kingston, Nova Scotia. We're into what I call the "heart of winter" and so far it has been a typical one. Then again our Spring never really begins here until June
regardless, whereas West Coasters are mowing their lawns in February lol.

I had never heard of the groundhog thing until the movie Groundhog Day came out in 1993, and I thought it was a bit silly.

It may Sound silly but it is one heck of a party, I have been ten
times in my life and its a ball and enjoyed it alot.
