• Adding my BBS to SyncTerm

From Fr333n3rgy@21:1/136 to All on Thursday, January 13, 2022 19:57:29
Does anyone know how I can add my bbs (The Oracle BBS) to SyncTerm so that users can find it in the default dial-up listing?

Is there a place where I should add my BBS so it can be found?

    Thank you,
    F3

If you don't run Synchronet, you'll need to log on to a Synchronet board, open the BBS List, select 'M'ore and then 'A'dd. You can add your BBS there. This will get it listed. It may take a little time for it to make it into the SyncTerm distribution file, but the user can always manually update it by downloading the updated list from https://www.synchro.net/sbbslist.html.

If you don't know someone that runs Sync, you can log onto my BBS at cjsplace.thruhere.net. You'll find the BBS list on the main menu.

I do run Synchronet, just started. I guess I don't have the BBS List setup on mine yet -- I'll come by on yours for not until I finish setup my board.

    Thanks
