I've only just realised - yeah, I'm often slow on the uptake - that
this is NOT "BBS: The Documentary", but a brand new production
pertaining to the contemporary BBS scene.

"BBS:The Documentary" was a landmark documentary - if only for the fact that he was able to interview many of the BBS movers and shakers who, sadly, passed away since.

But we certainly needed "Back to the BBS" because BBSing didn't end. It just fell into the Internet shadow.

Absolutely. I must have watched this at least ten times by now, but was completely unaware that "Back to the BBS" was an entirely different
    documentary altogether.

I sometimes don't read posts as closely as I should, and am often late to the party as a consequence.

    NOTE TO ONESELF: Pay attention!

Well the most recent 'big one' is Janis shut down on the 31st. Work is in progress with 3 new 'Stars' and a new filebone (plus repository) for folks to use as well as the traditional echomal delivery.

It would be cool if we could grab fido plus othernets in one pull.

Not very likely, because of zone:net issues. Members not of your zone will have tossing issues over duplicated nets.... Sorry, the tech isn't there.
