    Hi

How's everyone's long weekend (if you're in AUS) / normal weekend going?

I moved nocturnal and peach my two bbses running at home from two
seperate machines to to VMs running on VMware ESXi today.

    I have a third running at home on windows 10 / 32 bit but I don't think
I can move that, I suspect the activation would get upset. It's not open
to the public anyway, just for testing Titan on Windows.

Thinking about making a fourth, as I want to try running Magicka on
Haiku for an extended time to see how it copes. I've set up a Haiku VM
and will think some more about it tomorrow.

I should make a shuttle so when you connect you pick which bbs and it
forwards you to it. hmm. Though I think that interferes with
    downloading.

    It's getting late 9:33pm (I'm getting old).

    Bye
    Andrew

I think it may depend on how the shuttle is built and configured. From experience, I do know that the mystic logon matrix will interfere with any boards it shuttles to (except possibly the mystic host).

Yeah, I think it's due to double escaping telnet codes, I think last
time I made a shuttle I used enigma 1/2 I can't remember how that went.
I'm not planning on writing my own lol.

Hmm slow, we've been binging on Iron Fist on Nitflux here, once the handbrake sees something she likes, thats it we're on a bender until there's no more to watch.

On the other hand, I've gone into ethnic cleansing mode for some reason. I have stuff still piled around from moving in. Consolidated some, threw some out, made room on the important table for Clone+, ClonE, and G-Esky to live. I have near enough room to put a very cramped lounge/couch in here.

Came home with Clone+ yesterday, it looks good aside from a dead power supply.. always something eh. So it too has had the ethnic cleansing, case washing, bit of board blowing and sucking.. and reassembly

Cleaning gave me server and BBS hiccoughs.. Both got power bounced, the server just wanted to power off every few mins after being turned back on, and of course the BBS won't run without it, so that slowed things up a bit, but all looking tidy and running again.

Well, the final tally was 1 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze. Had a good final day with silver in the 100m hurdles, 200m, having to hold another guy off in a tough contest, and the 4 x 400m relay, which was tough at the end of a long program. :)

Pulled up reasonably well. A few stiff spots, but nothing too bad. Mostly a rest day, with track training cancelled for the club (I wonder why! ;) ). But I still have to train with the fire brigade team. Should be able to argue to take it lightly.

Have to really watch this week, so I can get through Sunday's upcoming fire brigade competition. I'm in the middle of a 9 day spike in activity, which is a risky time for injury. This Sunday will mark the end of that spike.

Was a good (3 day) weekend. Had a few tough contests that tested my mental toughness (I won most of those!) in the 200 and 400m sprints, as well as surviving the 4x400m relay. ad great race tactics in the 400m and good technique in the 400m hurdles. Tried the same tactics in the 4x400m, but by this time I didn't have the energy reserves to pull it off, and the last 50-100m were just a slog. I was glad to pass the baton on! :D

Had fun in a couple of events too. The hammer throw was fun, and in the 4x100m relay, the race was already over by the time I got the baton as 4th runner - I could have jogged to the finish, but instead, I took the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed run at speed. We won by over 15 seconds, or the length of the home straight. :)

4 weeks ago, I could barely walk due to an injured calf, which I did during hurdle practice. This weekend, all was good, and that included going over 24 hurdles - 20 in the 2 races and 4 in practice. :)

Very glad to hear you come thru these events safe/sound. Remember the calf
from a while ago...so was concerned that may not have healed successfully enough to get thru this past weekend.

OMG, I know the feeling about corporate controlled Thermostats, I used to run an Advance Auto Parts Store.. They controlled my lights, heat, and AC in addition to monitoring how fast each delivery car was going. Nothing like
being in the store 2 hours after closing doing an inventory and all of a
sudden the store goes black! Gotta run up front to the fuse box to hit the emergency light switch, BUT that only keeps the lights on for an hour, if you hit the switch twice it will be 2 hours etc. Then on a early April day the temps outside hit 85 degrees, and the heat is on inside the store! Or you
have one of those late Spring mornings where it is 48 degrees outside and the AC is on! I hated that place!! They controlled everything, one morning it was like 2 degrees outside and the thermostats were never more then say 62 to 65 degrees, I called corporate to beg to raise the temp up a couple of degrees
and their answer was according to the weather for your area it is 25 degrees, so 65 is fine! I cursed them out and got written up for it!

    Jeez..

Many times...seems like I drink my weight in water from as much as I sweat.
Haha yeah it gets like that on the hot days. :)

Bad thing is the thermostat is controlled at corporate...on the other
side of the country. With the temperature being around 40 F...don't
need to have it feel like it's 40 C.

The strangest one I had was a local council office with a dodgy thermostat. In summer, the place was a freezer, barely 15C, while in winter it could get up to 30C! :D

At 58...even at half my age...my knees wouldn't allow me to do stuff like that.
Well, at 51, I left 2 guys in their early 20s behind in an all out sprint tonight. :) Track training rules! :D

Forgot to mention that my knees (along with the rest of me) would be sitting in my chair watching you burn around them. ;)

Haha, it is fun smoking younger guys. :D

thermostats were never more then say 62 to 65 degrees, I called
corporate to beg to raise the temp up a couple of degrees and their
answer was according to the weather for your area it is 25 degrees, so
65 is fine! I cursed them out and got written up for it!

Going to nag 1 more time about this topic...that being the music. I was in
the business for around 20 years & know how to make a music list with a
limited amount of music. This past Xmas season...they would run the same song/different artists several times an hour. After Xmas until New Years...we kept getting complaints (including staff) that Xmas is over & play something else. Finally did NY Eve. Used to love Paul McCartney as a solo artist...but now...running lawn mowers sound better. ;)

Years...we kept getting complaints (including staff) that Xmas is ove play something else. Finally did NY Eve.

At least one of our managers had to suffer through it...even though he tried
to change it. Said there were only 2 stations available & they both played
    Xmas music.

OH NO!!!! It's not like I've worked for several years in casinos in the past
& understand how they work. Learned a long time ago to not go there to waste
my money. On the other hand...they really want a piece of that from me...they better be prepared for quite a bit of "crop dusting". ;)
