Yeah, and I'm not always very clear with my thoughts, what I mean and

I find when I can see I'm getting wound up on subject x I have the ability to mostly see it for what it is and move off / away from it. In the end you can expend so much energy on some topic that you wonder why you bothered and think there's much more to life than trying to convince someone of your viewpoint being the one they should hold. Life's too short :)
the same for the other people. I really think it's social media that has set this off.. by tailoring content to 'your interests', you get so used to people thinking the way you do, that when they don't ... chaos.
I saw some scary stuff about Tic Tock the other day talking about the algorithms in play there and how a very narrow view of what is fed to users occurs. So yeah, I agree with your comments on social and how folks seem to be loosing (or have never discovered) critical reasoning and thinking skills.
Anywho I realize this was a reply to you but in fact it more of a general musing to all.
