I live downtown Oshawa. I can walk to 15 pot shops within 6

they are all making enough money to pay rent.

Yep.. it's pretty much the only one in the entire region. We
probably won't see it in the winter.

That sure is a lot of shops in one community.

Maybe most of them are NOT paying rent, but own the buildings?

And I think the regulations for operating a shop like that was
added security. A renter may not be able to input the capital
to renovate a space to accomodate that, but an owner could. (?)

Maybe, but property tax would still be quite high would it not?

Possibly, but a couple of them are in strip malls... Not sure if
the units are owned or leased though. Couple of them are huge
companys like Tokoyo Smoke but also a lot of mom n' pop weed stores
    too.

In my sleepy little community, we had 2 dispensaries. A Taco Bell just
closed down and a dispensary moved in to make 3. Seems a little overkill for
a bedroom community unless Betty and Hank are way into edibles.

I have books with titles like "Insta Pot" in my shop. Some

Perhaps its made from Cannabis paper :) Also makes me think of... compressed sponges.. not sure how big a thing these were... they were squashed to like 1/8" thick dry, and sold that way, when you put them in water they'd swell
back to being ~1" thick... I imagine an insta pot working the same way... add water and plant...:)

I love the thing. Instead of making beans in 12 hours you can make them in
an hour and 15 minutes. So much easier and honestly tastes the same.

It must be the meat that takes the time, I've been making vegetable stews
the old fashioned way, with a stock pot and a burner.

It takes maybe 45 minutes - saute an onion and a bell pepper, get the onions to sweat. Add frozen corn, celery, diced summer squash, a can of drained
beans or dried lentils. Top off with vegetable stock, add some indian spice mix, bring to a boil then let it simmer until the liquid level starts to
    drop and it thickens.

It makes beef stew / Pot Roast in about 20 minutes. :-) i am wanting to test
it to see if i can cook a whole chicken with it. and then test it on chicken soup.

I can confirm both turn out great. If you have the duocrisp you can
even crisp up the skin using the air fryer attachment.
