    So the black cockatoos hung around for a couple of days, but we had some
    pretty hefty rain late yesterday and overnight. They seem to have disappeared for the time being. Not missing the noise, but missing the interest in them being so close by.

    Not sure if I still have photos or video, but we had Willie Wagtails in a
    tree right outside a bedroom window at the last house I was in...

    Yeah nope, Cockies are enough. The Willie Wagtails are harmless, light
    almost musical warble and not to loud. Very cute little birds... with 4 or 5 chicks bouncing around in the nest.

    I would say Spectre is fairly safe from that considering that
    this bird likes to stick around South America.
