Does anyone know anything about arin.net American Registry for Internet Numbers. You can ping addresses and get numbers for IP's and then look them up on arin.net, but some info I get from them is surprising so I wonder how accurate it is.
ARIN is stands for American Registry for Internet Numbers. They are *THE* registry of all IP and ASN allocation for all of North America.
In other words, if you are an ISP for example and you need a block of IP's in america.. that's who contact.
