Avon's great about getting the node numbers out...so you will have one very soon. Used to run a BBS 30 years ago & got tired of being banned on Facebook because of being extremely progressive. Don't usually have anything like that in any of the nets...just great people & great conversations. For instance...have learned more about what life is like outside the US from Spectre & Tony with VKRadio.

Here's the list I carry over here: WWIVFTN/SciNet/MicroNet/VKRadio/AmigaNet/FidoNet/SpookNet.

Love retro computers...but have never gotten an answer to the apps I've sent
    in from these networks: PiNet/RetroNet/CommodoreNet/AgoraNet.

All of these mentioned have the coordinators here on fsx & SciNets.

Welcome & have a great time!

Yes, things are (usually) more relaxed on the BBS nets. :) I'm also rather progressive, but know how to hold my tongue when needed. ;)

Someone posted somewhere how to connect to a QWK network using Mystic. QWK is a different technology altogether and uses different tools. I run the RetroNet QWK gateway, so you will get the same echos, but using a different transport, and you won't be able to netmail within the network. Firstly, there is no system to gate netmail between QWK and FTN, and secondly, I don't know if Mystic supports QWK netmail at all. QWK netmail is one of Synchronet's extensions, and I don't know if g00r00 implemented it in Mystic (the Synchronet QWK extensions are openly documented for others to implement).

    My QWK hub/gateway runs Synchronet.

Am very interested...especially when I get D'Bridge/Fmail or
    FastEcho/TG running.

You don't need those for QWK, it's a different technology, and Mystic can poll a QWK hub fine.

Actually...don't use netmail that much...but am not looking at running it on Mystic...but TG. Mystic does have QWK...but have never set it up...but with TG...will be doing that...along with using BlueWave as well...since BlueWave was 1 of the main draws of TG back in the day.
