• Hudson again

I'm more suprised than anyone that the Hudson base blew up again. But this time I have no real idea of the cause. Looks like a corrupt packet.

Said packet had newsgroup content which doesn't go into the hudson base. So what happened? I can only guess it was headed for the bad message board, but I don't know why. The problem is caused was the tossing of the single packet expanding the base to over 16Mb all by itself. So FE then complained the message base is oversized and gives up. Didn't find a real solution just ended up deleting packets and the message base until the problms went away.

Yeah, you are appreciating why I started migrating away from Hudson when RA 2.x and JAM came along. ;) I used to blow mine up as regularly as the IRA in the 1970s. ;)
