• Bucko's Image Install

Just wanted to share to those who might have a bit of interest in Bucko's
Image BBS v2.0, we threw up a video of the install of it. He made it easy
to install as the video shows!

Avon: I am still trying to get the video online of Bob Spencer's online that includes your questions for him. (Bob was a developer/engineer of the MITS Altair) The video we did ended up being VERY impromptu and well it is what it is and looooong. I am meeting with him in a couple weeks again as he called
me last Friday saying he would like to have me do a 2nd interview video talking about the MITS Atache' computer he created. So I just wanted you to know I am getting to it and I think you will like what Bob has to talk about even if
the video is not shot as ideally as I would of liked.

I am also working on more videos of Bucko's Image BBS plus some other goodies too! I am trying to get this stuff out after sitting on it for 2 years! ;)

Appreciate it PalKat.. Just a quick note, Avon hatched the file last December so anyone who was on fsx at that point already has the files... :)

The video shows Image being installed to a Windows system. Does the Image-on-a-Stick also work on linux systems? If so, does it matter if they
are headless / command-line only (no X GUI)?

... Gone crazy, be back later, please leave message.

You could run it on a Linux system, but you would have to setup Vice and TCPSER, once you had those both running all you need to do is attach the 4 FD4000 disks and boot Image from within Vice.. I'm not sure if it would run headless. If Vice will run headless and allow you to attach and boot from floppy images then yes, if not then no..

Unfortunately, I am not Linux proficient otherwise I would have a clearer answer for you..

No worries. I have a headless SBC I thought might be a good match, but I
can always try it on another machine. :)

... So easy, a child could do it. Child sold separately.
