A small act of kindness can make a massive difference in someone's day. tl;dr this is a long story, feel free to skip to the end.

My mom goes to Bible study on Thursday nights. She needed some things at the store, so I went for her.

3, packets of brown gravy mix, 3 packets of ranch dressing mix, one jar of pepprocinis. Ok, not too complicated.

I circled around the store for a few minutes, found the soups. Oh, there's chili kits, the gravy mix has to be here, yep there it is. Ok done. Wander
the store some more. Ok there's pickles, the pepperocinis have to be there,
ok, sweet ones, copped ones, cheese stuffed ones. Where are regular ones, looking and looking. Oh good found some only one brand of regular ones. AH HAH salad dressing is the same aisle. Ok, looking, oh crap, out of that dressing powder. Looking some more, ah, phew, another brand.


Up to the front, oh no, 3 registers open and long lines, ok, fine, waiting,
ok woman in front of me checking out. SMASH. Jar of pepperocinis falls out of the cart. CRAP!. Ok employees see, they say it's ok, go myself to find them again, looking, looking, looking. Oh ok there they are again. I forgot the brand already so they were again hard to find. Back to the front I go, get
in line ok, stuff is bagged, out to the car. Good, ok, headed back to her
house to drop the stuff off. One bag is ripped? (I bought some other things too, six pack of Yeungling and some wafer cookies the 6 pack was in a bag
with the pouches).

Get out of the car, carry stuff in the house, un bag, wait? Why's there only
2 pouches of beef gravy? Went to look in the car, nope, not there. Ok back to the store. I grabbed one pouch of beef gravy, and a few other things. I
wasn't about to charge $1.35 on my debit card. Idon't like doing that. I get
in line, 3 things in hand. Lady in front looks at me, "That's all you got? Go in front of me." I thanked her multiple times.

That made my entire day, she had no idea.

You just never know really.
