Set up turned out to be rather easy, thanks to you know who and the YouTube videos.

Except for that one mistake, I have one little problem. I probably just
missed something, but I don't think I configured Netmail correctly, it's not showing up in my inbox, otherwise, all is good, I think, maybe, I dunno.

    Blargh

Or maybe I'm just being a dummy and that's how it's supposed to work. I know
it showed up in my inbox when I ran Synchronet, but they're not all the same.

Yup, it should show up in your Netmail base.

To helo test you can send a netmail:

    To: ping
    Address: 21:3/100

Subject and message body don't matter. Deon's magic robot will netmail you back with the contents of your original message.

I'll also send you a test netmail once I send this message.

    I sent one as well.

Hmm. Netmail messages don't go to your inbox that's part of Mystic's email system; that's a completely different messaging system that's local to your board. Following the videos, you should have set up a message base called "Netmail" to receive all of your netmail. This message base seems to have a couple of magical properties: users can only see their own messages, and you can have netmail from all of your nets go to this one message base. Somehow
    it sorts it all out.

Oh ok, that makes since, that occured to me after I posted that. When I ran Synchronet, it arrived in my inbox. That makes sense then.

For something different. My Sync board got shut down in 2018 because life.
Even then I was thinking I wanted to try out Mystic.

    Hello Starstorm,

Or maybe I'm just being a dummy and that's how it's supposed to work.
I know it showed up in my inbox when I ran Synchronet, but they're not
    all the same.

I just replied to you via netmail. In the case of Mystic netmail comes and goes from a netmail base.

    Ttyl :-),
