    Pretty much.

I mean, the Release Candidate versions are mostly fine, but threw some warnings with the validators. The definitive files I have uploaded today just fix the validator warnings. The novel inside is just the same.

If they file you got is working for you there is no real need to go to the store and download the new one. You can stuill do just that, nevertheless.

It does not matter how throughful you are, problems always slip in.

Pages don't exist as far as the epub is concerned. Maybe you can give me a more accurate hint to locate it?

The Adobe Digital Editions (pc reader) and my Kobo display the
same paginations. Maybe that's because I import the .epub into
AdobeDE first and then use it to transfer it to the Kobo?

Anyway.. when using the Kobo, every few pages there a tiny
number in the margin that looks like it would be a page number.
The same number appears in AdobeDE for the slider function.

I'll see if I can produce some comparison pics.

Interesting. Thanks for pointing that up.

I don't know how those pseudo-page numbers are generated. The epub file has no idea of what a page is. Internally, the book is split in sections - a file for each chapter - but I doubt that is what you are seeing.

I googled for "how does adobe digital editions add page numbers"

...and found this as the first hit:

    https://www.booknook.biz/ebook-micro-faq/what-about-my-page-
    numbers

"Some e-reading software also creates fake page numbers. One
program in particular, Adobe Digital Editions, which you'll
likely use in your review of your ePUB ebook, creates a "page
number" every 1,000 characters, that you can easily use for
reference while proofing your book. You can see an example of
this in the yellow-highlighted spot below--Adobe Digital
Editions ("ADE") creates a fake page number, that does not exist
    in the actual ebook."

For me, ADE indicates "123" pages. At 1000 char per "page",
that's a total of 123,000 chars. Is that about right for you
book? That page number does not change even after adjusting the
    font size.

Calibre seems to do things differently. It reports a total of
248 "positions"? That total never changes, but the "nnn" in
the nnn/248 count changes depending on how tall and wide the
    page display is.

Anyway.. the purported spelling mistake is at 45/278 in my
Calibre. ;) ..and at 21/123 in ADE. More hints to follow.
    :D

    It is probably right.

I remember I counced the words once, but I don't think wordcounts are that important once you stop trying to sell the book to a publisher :-) I think the actual number was closer to 130k, but that was for the Spanish edition. I would have to run a word count again to be sure.
