Hmmm had #1 son the last few days during lockdown. He trundled home this arvo having trundled past the alternate house, visiting #2 #1 son... confusing isn't it, and #1 Daughter. So far so good....

Living in a block o' units with the neighbours being relatively recent arrivals from Uganda... and strangely enough the only thing I can ever remember about Uganda.... is Idi Amin... s'posed to be a nice place. Second family from that location we've come across relatively recently. Their car has been rather noisy at start.. he was outside briefly today, so we lifted his bonnet and had a look at fluids... didn't find anything amiss... but it does seem a lot noisier than it used to be, reminiscent of valve train noise. Then there was a bit waffle afterwards.

So I'm trying to tidy up the bench, getting ready to do something with the replacement daily drive that hasn't been driving.. Unloaded all the assorted crap off the top, reseated everything I could poke on the mobo. A few things creak and groaned.. and behold it proceeded to fire up... so its back in business... although I've since discovered its a little underpowered for some of the stuff I've been playing with recently.

Then the BBS has stopped in its tracks again... pain in the butkiss... I have no idea what its done, but sntp seemed to be throwing some kind of error and leaving a floating errorlevel. Which the batch file then picked up and cycled on out with running SuperBBS. Now its run the way it was since the day dot so why it suddenly became a problem I have no idea.
