Well the round-tuit has been utilised fixing a system "user" vsftp
problem. Not sure if I haven't buggered anonymous up again.. but I did find something really interesting in the mean time... doesn't matter how much you edit a config file if it has the wrong name. :/ <chuckle>

Still haven't gotten to etcher yet... been a stonking hot day here today
too... so I'd say I'm sitting back enjoying cold snacks of the non-alcoholic persuasion...

Ha... oh well at least you spotted the issue in the end... I have spent some
of today looking at HPT config files and trying to get GoldED working which I think I now have. Phew.

today.. and my tomatoes are still growing ... the variety is called 'early girl' but they are taking ages!

Yes, that is a bit chilly for my taste. We get a few cold snaps here in the winter when the temps will drop to -16 for a few days.

My sister lives north of Prince George in a log cabin out in the sticks. My phone tells me the temperature there is -23 currently.

I only travel to Prince George in the summer.. ;)

It's been warm here, so much so that my succulents are flowering. in tge 60's and 70's. It's supposed to get back to freezing temps overnights Sunday or Monday.

So much for my landscaping plans.

Wow... I thought my area was bad!! Its cooling down now, and theres some snow expected for Friday. Should be 32 tomorrow and 25 on Friday. This. Is. Cold. To. Me. :P

I'm from Texas, so I spun up the ole weather app and looked at what I'm missing out on in Austin... yea right - Austin, Texas is 20 for the next five days!! That is isn't normal for Texas... so; I guess I just turn the heater on and roll with it.

I'm over here not going to work and... :P LOL.

Yep, that happens here to.. It can be warm so things start blooming, then winter kicks in again.

Yep, this cold snap is here to stay a while it seems. It's warmed up a bit now, it's -11C currently, 12F but the sun has gone down and I can feel the cold picking up again. It looks like it's going to drop to 3F tonight! <Brrr>

Low 30's here yesterday. Think it only got down to about 25 last night,
inside at least, and today's meant to be 24...

I got hold of rufus and have an install of buntu 16.04 going on sophos at the moment... discovered something else about sophos too.... not sure when I did it, but aside from having to boot of a USB stick, some sophos security thing you can't just replace their HD's, I do in fact have 2 x 1tb drives in
there... must've gotten matter compression working that day. Anyhoo I've had the BBS data for NFS on a USB HD, so it can move back to a bog standard drive.
