    Paulie,

Not sure why, but when I log off your BBS, after I press g, the screen
clears, then I have a bouncing cursor box on the bottom of my screen. I manually disconnect, but when I try to log back on it says I'm already
    ogged on.

LOL - I was just talking to another sysOp about this today. :P Furthermore, when I go and kick your 'ghost node', you sometimes log right back in! It happens EVERY time you logoff, and without my interaction your node will just set there!

So, to fix it immediately so you can access the BBS I'm gonna give you extended
access. This isn't a fix, but will allow you to 'logon' to more than one node... I'll iron out the issue, as this is a bandaid.

Do you call in with Netrunner or Syncterm? I ask because... I have a script running right when you described a bouncing cursor... and I wonder if its something to do with it - lemme look into it.

Hey fsxNet; any ideas? I have an automessage MPL running at that moment user describes, with some fancy ANSI... hmmm..

So apparently it could be hanging there for somw time. Primarily, I've been logging on, grabbing a couple of mods to look at then log off, open the zips and read the txt files to see If I want to try them out, then maybe log on again to grab another.

Typical leech stuff you know. :-P

I'm using Syncterm. This setup is command line only, so I'm not even sure if
    I can run netrunner.

I have Termius as a "proper" Android app as well that I could try just to see if it does it there as well. It says it does ANSI, but I think it more simulates ANSI.

There is no 'leeching' in 2o21, man... there is no file limits or data caps here - HAVE AT IT. PS, all the current mods are listed under their own file areas... super current ones are RCS Mods by Black Panther & XQTR Mods. Get some!!

Don't trip... like I said I gave you access so you won't get locked out again, and I'm taking a look at getting it fixed for you. Cheers, brother - yer allowed to push the D/L buttons!!

    GO. :P

Could it be related to the alpha build?

Is it a SSL or Telnet connect?

I'm thinking it might have something to do with terminal size. There are checks in place within the MPL for both 80 and 132 column, but I think that Barmed is connecting via his phone, so the terminal size is smaller...

I'm running Syncterm in a Termux session under Ubuntu. More or less as if
    it's a portable Raspberry Pi.

So far Paulies is the only system that I've run into this with.

Syncterm says itps 80x24 or x25, but it splits into 3 columns when I connect,
2 wide blue on either side and the terminal in the center. I'm fooling with
the settings in Syncterm that I can to see iff that does anything.

I've also installed Multimail on this thing to play with offline mail in this fashion.

If I knew of a point program that runs in a Linux terminal, I'd play with
    that as well.

I was joking about the leeching. I think I'm good for now though. I've got 5 or 6 I'm looking at. MRC and the interBBS one liners might take me a bit to figure out.

I'm not personally a fan of group chat programs anymore, but I did like them
on BBSes back in the day, and I hear people talking about MRC often enough.

I'm also looking at an autovalidate mod I think Netsurge wrote.

Plus looking into the best way to figure out how to accomplish a couple of ideas of my own.

AND figuring out why even with cryptlib ibstalled, SSH and email password function still don't work.

I'll be busy for a bit.

Maybe; or could be a termsize function we're using with a user who connects with a not-standard x/y....

Its a47, most current build - and the user is on a telnet connection - I haven't read the msg yet, but BP replied concerning this... I'll update if I learn exactly why. I just reached out to my peeps in the meantime.

:P Thank you for brainstorming with me, and certainly send any suggestions; this might be our fault. :P (I modified the script pretty good and aren't the bestest. :P)

MPL is easy enough, and I'm good with Linux if you have any questions about that... paulie420@gmail.com
