If someone has time and is a NET 1 member can you try polling 21:1/100 using port 24554 instead of 24556 and let me know how that works out.

You should be able to use either agency.bbs.nz or net1.fsxnet.nz and in
theory hit the mailer without needing port 24556 in your address now.

I don't get any linked echos from your node, but connection looks good. 24554 and 24556 are the same binkd?

If we are using 24556 do we need to change it?

Yes I have set router rules to send 24556 traffic to 24554 internally. The
aim being over time to get folks to migrate to 24554 and reduce complexity of having to state a different port.

Fido, fsxNet and some othernets all running off the same mailer.

No not at this point but that said if you do remove it and it works fine without stating 24556 (in other words just the domain name only which will always point to the default 24554 port) then just leave it off. My plan is to retire 24556 and keep it simple by offering BinkP traffic on the default port.

In time I hope to migrate the 1/10 HUB over as well but for now Usenet etc. remains on 24557

Setup Tribe BBS (21:1/177) to poll from net1.fsx.net.nz:24554

I've pulled a bunch of messages down and hopefully this posts OK
