Well, it turns out the region of Spain I am in didn't get
hit hard by the snow, but the business surely is.
Deliveries are getting blocked by snow since delivery
agencies have their trucks and roads blocked. This means I
have a bunch of packages laying around in some logistics
agency's warehouse, instead of travelling. At least one of
the packages was ordered by medical service witgh premium
less-than-6-hours delivery because they need them hard, and
the package is standing on my desk because the delivery
agency can't spare me a truck.
Also, the horse's water supply got frozen and I had to carry
the water to their barn with buckets from elsewhere.
Winter is the worst.
Just as quickly as the snow and cold arrived HERE, it went away.
It is quite mild here now, -2C. The snow piles from about 2
weeks have diminished quite a bit and there has been no
significant refill.
Maybe you will have a sudden warm front move in shortly.

Emergency deliveries cannot afford the wait.
I had to make a phone call and the delivery got done from a different location. I guess it is gonna cost me a favor in the future but at least customers are happy.

Nice! I've done similar - called and paid for a taxi to send people home.
But how did you get the package at YOUR location to it's destination? How ca you arrange a different location? I'm confused.
