Been a long day today. Work is quite demanding at present and I seem to have little energy for hobbies by the time the evening rolls around.

I'm doing some BBS stuff before dinner tonight as there were some things I needed to catch up on. I'll aim for 70% of those tonight :)

Hope you're doing OK and that viruses, daily life etc. has not got you too down. At least we can chat here (and in other networks too) and communally enjoy a BBS hobby that spans many diverse folks and interests.

Been a long day today. Work is quite demanding at present and I seem

It's been hot here. It was supposed to get to 39, not sure if it got that
high or not, but it feels hot. We also had our rent inspection which went
well, and the real estate lady mentioned she would ask for
airconditioning for our unit. We're a little worried if they decide to it
would be a good excuse to put the rent up.

I've been working on my linux from scratch setup today, got the base
installed yesterday and have installed pkgsrc (from netbsd) to compile / install xorg and things. I'm working on XFCE at the moment.

Also working on some build scripts to automate the process of compiling
linux from scratch a little.

Been a busy few days. Traveled to the North island to visit family. It was a whirlwind trip that went well but the net result was back after three days on the go and then into a busy working week. Tuesday I was catching up on 150+ missed emails from Monday (I had taken that off to fly home) and today (my Wednesday) now feels like I am working on Tuesday and Wednesday stuff.

I guess a lot of us are busy with all sorts of things in the lead up to Christmas etc.

I'm looking forward to a few days rest this weekend and also the summer break (which is what happens here in NZ) think Christmas think BBQ weather here :)

Glad you'll have a chance to rest, we are looking forward to our Winter break here, however the weather here has been unusally warmer then normal for it to be this close to Christmas. You gave me great idea to BBQ! That sure beats traditional ham!
