I'm not sure if you've run across /r/ramsaso on Reddit, but certainly worth contacting for a NULL interview I'd think. He's created a POTS dial-up pool with many numbers allowing to connect to BBSes.

Because getting a phone line for a bbs in 2020 is something big, it would be better, for the people behind this, to tell the story behind it, the how to etc.

Oh, having the cell phone's telephone line pass through to a BBS running on the phone would be *just* *too* *cool*.

I know some of the old Blackberries had software that would make it look like a modem to a PC connected via USB, don't think it'd work the way I want on an Android.
