There have been three (3) new echo areas created for roBOT posts.
Created FSX_ADS BBS and NETwork Ads. Run a BBS you want to tell the world
about? Use a roBOT or manually post your BBS ASCII / ANSI
ads here. Please don't post the same thing more than once a
week (7 days). Let's keep it 'minty fresh' - too much of the
same thing usually ends in a diet :)
Created FSX_STA Echomail + Network Stats. The echo area for roBOT posts
about echomail area stats, BBS mailer traffic and gateway
activity. FTN network stats / reports are also posted here.
Some people read them cover to cover while others like
horoscopes better :)
Created FSX_FIL File Announcements. I like files, you like files, we all
like files! This echo area contains roBOT posts covering
files received by fsxNet member BBS or files hatched from
fsxNet HUBS to the wider community.
The description for FSX_BOT has now also been revised to as follows:
FSX_BOT - We welcome non-human roBOT output here. Gated or original content
(e.g. weather, telemetry, entertainment etc.) lives here. BBS
ads (FSX_ADS), echomail stats (FSX_STA) or file
announcements (FSX_FIL) live elsewhere.
This means that the posts you have have currently setup to appear in
FSX_BOT may need to change to one (or more) of the above new echo areas instead.

OTHER CHANGES TO ECHOMAIL AREAS - PLEASE READ =============================================
A new testing echomail area has been created which means testing in the
FSX_GEN echo should now cease and move to FSX_TST please.
The updated echoarea details are as follows:
Created FSX_TST Test messages and other experimentation is welcome here!
Messages using the subject of 'Test' *should* receive an
automated response from a roBOT. Humans can also appear
magically with reports too. Your mileage may vary. Offer
is not available at Vanda Station.
FSX_GEN - A general discussion echo area covering many topics.
Other more recent echomail areas you may also wish to link to / areafix are:
FSX_ESP - Espanol General Chat. This echo area offers a place for Spanish
language conversations. Like FSX_GEN it is a general discussion
echoarea covering many topics. Test messages and other
experimentation is welcome.
FSX_NET - Discussions about fsxNet. Chat about current network operations,
plans for the future and how to best implement them.
If you have any questions please contact your HUB coordinator or just
post them to FSX_GEN or FSX_NET where someone will be able to help you.
This message will be daily auto-posted in FSX_BOT for the next few weeks
and also posted to FSX_GEN from time to time over the same period.

I shall miss the stats. Especially the ones that belong to the echos I'm actually reading. As they came past once a week it was interesting to see what was going on. I see already there are so many to wade through in the "stats" area that its hardly worth going looking for one message.
