Couple of artpacks into FSX_ARTS file echo and the first NULL issue from some time back.

I've been unhappy with using Htick to hatch stuff but have been playing getting Mystic and Agency to send to the HUB and set up permissions so I could hatch to the wider network that way. It seems to work.

I want to try and automate some hatching of old files across the file bases so that newer nodes get some of the earlier stuff.

I also need to grab a bunch of older artpacks released this year and start sending those out too.

If anyone has anything they want hatched feel free to upload it to Agency and I can send it out from there :)

Seems to me the only 'us' you refer to is 'you' with regard to your aforementioned gripe. That's fine Nigel, don't look, I'm happy with the helpful responses I got from others and it tells me things are working just fine.

Files hatched from 1/100 are posted once daily to the echomail area dedicated for such announcements. It's done that way to make it easy to find the info about files compared to days of old where it all went in the BOT echo. The dedicated echo was set up based on user feedback from folks in fsxNet.

I posted about the file bases I was hatching on 18 Dec (my time) and then posted more about it / sent files on 19 Dec. For others it seems to have a fairly easy trick to have a look at the two file announcement posts covering those two days or just their BBS logs to show files imported over that period.

Let's do this...here's what's in my ARTS directory, tell me if you see your file and we're all good.

I see in the logs a bunch of files were sent to you in FSX_TEXT. I can give you the logs if you would like, if it helps figured out what happened on your side.

I've just asked FileFix, and I'm connected to all file echos.

I see in the logs a bunch of files were sent to you in FSX_TEXT. I can give you the logs if you would like, if it helps figured out what happened on
your side.

I grepped through my log files and noticed that some files reached my
system, but I failed to identify them as new files, as the file dates
are older (2018 - 2020) :)

Besides, the NULL001*.ZIP files don't work in my BBS as Synchronet
3.18 (which I'm still using as it still is the latest stable release)
only allows 8.3 filenames on Linux.

But all in all, hatching the files did work :)

Have hatched a few test files out to arts filebase and text file base

I have been ignoring my board for quite some time. Oh my, do I have alot of messages to catch up on! Anyhow.. quite surprised to see all the new files! Thank you for hatching them, gotta go check out all the new goodies now! =)
