Thanks for the warm welcome Zip. Getting my feet wet again in FTN based messaging and BBS-stuff.
Never hosted a BBS though, mostly snooping around some local BBSes in the Netherlands. I was a FidoNet point for about 2,5 years and even met the Sysop, which is kinda cool when you're a 17 year old kid.

    Hi Martien

You're making it all the way to New Zealand where tonight we move into
    daylight savings time.

Nice to have you as a member of the fsxNet community. I hope you enjoy
    chatting here etc.

Sing out if you need any help with BBS stuff.

    Best, Paul

I'm just saying that if you need to make an adjustment to a
recent .269 that can't wait another week, just hatch a .270.

You don't necessarily need to hatch a new nodelist every day.

In my system, the second FSXNET.Z69 was stored as FSZNET.Z69.1
upon arrival which couldn't be processed properly.

Yep fair enough and I don't disagree. It's something I am happy to add.

At present I am working on the fsxnet.nz website and a few other things but will look to add it to my TO-DO.

Huh. So you were 10 hours ahead of me, and in about four weeks will be a nice even 12 hours off.

    Time zones are weird.

I have a hard enough time with the daylight/standard switching being off between Europe and the US, though I know that's just the beginning of the
    time zone weirdness.

I did enjoy that video of some guy talking about how one should never
implement their own time zones in a piece of software, because it'll drive
    you nuts.

It'll be out turn here next week to go into DST.

With us you're also out of phase, as well as different dates! :D

Yes, let the OS do the heavy lifting, and just use its resources. :)
