    1. So many vans make heavy use of their roof for solar space.
    2. Most veggies don't do well at 55 - 65 MPH.

    I'd hope that people would put a camera up there, because it'd probably be entertaining to watch whenever the van got up to highway speeds.

    ...though probably illegal and dangerous, as it's pretty solidly a terrible idea (unless actively enclosed), but it'd _look_ neat.

    (To be fair, I don't know where you'd put it after you installed lots of
    solar power.)

    Yeah, I'd be mighty uncomfortable driving behind a van with a bunch of watermelons on it's roof... ;)

    Chuckle, sounds good, but I'd need to see the windproof plants first :) Pushing all that soil and water around will not be nice to your fuel costs either.

    At least watermelons might be solid enough to nail to stake down.... I can see fun times behind something like corn stalks... firing into your windscreen like
    spears... :)
