    Nw that's something I find amusing, because in radio use, "over" means it's your turn to speak, "out" means "we're done, no need to reply".

    So when someone says "over and out", do they want a response or not? :D

    I don't have any HF gear and on our repeaters and DMR the phrase we use is "clear" or "clear on your final". The first indicates that we're done and
    were the last part of the QSO. The latter is that we're done but will listen for a return.

    Radio does have it's quirks in communication doesn't it?

    Yeah, I was referring more to the way Hollywood portrays radio use, which is often amusing, to say the least. :)
