Met Kerry King recently. Not a big Slayer fan myself (saw them live long ago with Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Megadeth and Metallica), but gotta give them props for the longevity.

That is awesome! Yes, props for the longevity and sticking with their style regardless of what trends were around at the time. Tom Araya seems like such a down to earth person that you could just sit and hang out with, too!

A little inside-baseball: Kerry King *hates* Tom. He told me Tom can't play bass (claims he recorded all the bass parts on the albums himself) and that Tom
doesn't (didn't) write songs. Kerry comes across (to me and my family) as bitter and disgruntled. Here's to hoping he finds his "happy place" some day! :-)
