    +1

I have been binge watching games from the 2009 season. Just watched the
SEC Championship last night. :) I am doing so because I am worried that
we won't be watching college football this fall. :(

Reminds me of a conversation I had recently, about how to change sports so
    that they're appropriately socially distanced.

American football seemed to be right out, short of having a kicking competition, basketball seemed like it'd just be playing HORSE, baseball
seems like it's 95% of the way there, and so on.

But football/soccer... People could start playing Foosball. Paint lines and circles for where people are allowed to go in each position, and off they go.

And the more we talked about it, the more appealing it seemed as a concept.

Obviously, not the same game, but it seems like it'd be interesting to watch with the same personnel.

    Was their alcohol involved? :D

Honestly, they are going to have to think of something. Apparently, they
are back to playing soccer, without crowds, in Europe. I just hope
whatever they think of does not become permanent (unless, by some unforseen luck it is actually an improvement).

Hah! I'm sure one of the people was high, but that's more of a base state. As for me, I may come up with odd things, but it's not like when I played with
my brother as a child, where he would be inventing rules and changing the
    game pretty much constantly.

Yeah. I think they're already making it work, but their infection rate is
lower than in the US. I don't imagine anyone would take my idea seriously, as
I think it'd require everyone taking mask wearing and social distancing super seriously, and obviously that's not something people do, regardless of
    country.
