NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0325 AM CST Sat Dec 01 2018
Areas affected...Eastern Arkansas...Northwest Mississippi...Western
Tennessee
Concerning...Tornado Watch 431...
Valid 010925Z - 011130Z
The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 431 continues.
SUMMARY...A wind-damage threat will be possible over the hour or two
in eastern Arkansas, far western Tennessee and far northwestern
Mississippi. The threat should become more isolated with time and a
weather watch will not be needed to the east of WW 431.
DISCUSSION...The latest radar imagery shows a weakening line of
thunderstorms across eastern Arkansas. Strong deep-layer shear along
with a band of large-scale ascent will continue to support an
isolated severe threat for another hour or two. However, the line
should continue to weaken as it moves into the vicinity of the
Mississippi River where instability is very weak.
