    SUMMARY...Freezing rain accumulations are expected to continue, with
    up to 0.04 inch/hour rates possible.

    DISCUSSION...Up to 0.25 inches of accumulated ice have been observed
    in some locales over the past several hours, with accumulations
    noted on roadways and elevated surfaces alike. Surface temperatures
    are currently below freezing across much of Indiana into Ohio, with
    widespread 925-850 mb WAA noted within a conveyor belt of
    precipitation. RAP point forecast soundings indicate 925-700 mb
    warming rates of up to 8 C/hr associated with the WAA within the
    aforementioned conveyor belt, with temperatures reaching over the
    freezing mark within the 925-850 mb layer. As such, freezing rain is
    expected to continue across the area, with accumulating rates of
    0.02-0.04 inches/hr possible. A 100+ knot 500 mb jet streak and
    associated dry slot are slowly impinging on the Ohio Valley. Given
    the slow northeastward progression of this dry slot, freezing rain
    is expected to continue for several more hours, perhaps as late as
    10-12Z.
