    SUMMARY...Locally damaging winds may be possible with a small bowing
    segment across Georgia through early evening. Watch issuance is not
    expected, though.

    DISCUSSION...A relatively organized convective complex is moving
    east across western Georgia around 40-45 kt late this afternoon.
    This system has shown some signs of a locally enhanced damaging wind
    threat, including a rear-inflow notch (noted in Z/KDP) coupled with
    a channel of stronger outbounds on higher tilts of KMXX. Pockets of
    filtered insolation ahead of this line (generally where temperatures
    have reached the mid 70s) may have generated enough low-level
    instability for some downward transport of stronger mid-level flow,
    noted in KJGX VWP data. As such, isolated damaging gusts may be
    possible through early evening. However, limited nocturnal cooling
    should bring about more neutral low-level stability profiles,
    eventually limiting the damaging wind potential and likely
    precluding watch issuance.
