The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 418 continues.

SUMMARY...Tornado threat continues across the southeastern half of
ww418.

DISCUSSION...Mature squall line has evolved along the front as it
advances into the lower MS Valley. This band of frontal convection
is moving east at roughly 25-30kt and should progress across the
remainder of ww418 over the next few hours.

Ahead of the squall line, small cluster of supercells that formed
over the upper TX Coastal Plain has migrated into central LA and has
yet to be overtaken by the squall line. Long-lived tornadic
supercell is moving across Rapides Parish toward southeast
Grant/southern La Salle Parish. This storm appears to be influenced
by a corridor of focused low-level warm advection that should lift
into western MS over the next few hours along with an increasing
tornadic potential.
