    Concerning...Tornado Watch 404...405...

    The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 404, 405 continues.

    SUMMARY...An isolated, brief tornado threat will continue with any
    rotating cells early this evening.

    DISCUSSION...Overall tornado threat appears to be lessening across
    MO as upper forcing shifts northward and the main convective line
    continues to deteriorate. Further north into parts of central and
    eastern IA, low level hodographs from regional VWPs continue to show
    favorable conditions for rotating updrafts. However, convection
    continues to morph into more stratiform rain and clusters rather
    than discrete cells. Coupled with loss of daytime heating, the
    threat across IA should continue to diminish over the next 1-2
    hours.

    Further northeast into southwest and central WI, isolated discrete
    cells continue to exhibit low level rotation as warm, moist
    advection continues ahead of the surface low. These cells will
    quickly shift north toward the cool side of a surface boundary
    draped west-east across central WI. Overall, threat should also
    begin to diminish in the next few hours as boundary layer
    stabilization occurs.
