Probability of Watch Issuance...80 percent

SUMMARY...Storms are expected to continue east out of Minnesota and
progress across Wisconsin and parts of the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan. Damaging winds will be the primary threat.

DISCUSSION...A shortwave trough and surface low will translate
northeast out of southern MN across a moist and unstable air mass,
with strengthening mean wind fields through the evening. This should
support the expansion and intensification of a line of storms as it
develops northeastward. A few embedded areas of rotation are
possible within the line, potentially enhancing corridors of wind
damage.
