Areas affected...southwest Nebraska through northwest Kansas
Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 320...
Valid 290346Z - 290515Z
The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 320
continues.
SUMMARY...Storms will continue to pose risk for isolated large hail
and damaging wind as they move through southwest Nebraska and
northwest Kansas next couple hours.
DISCUSSION...Late this evening storms continue developing primarily
within what appears to be a warm advection wing from southwest NE to
northwest KS in association with a southeast-moving MCV. This
cluster remains poorly organized, but embedded stronger storms are
capable of localized damaging wind and hail. It remains possible
storms may eventually become better organized as a linear mode along
east-west baroclinic zone as they continue southeast through a
corridor of modest instability, eventually posing a somewhat greater
risk for damaging wind.
