    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 325...

    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 325
    continues.

    SUMMARY...An ongoing threat for damaging wind gusts and isolated
    hail will continue for at least the next couple of hours.
    Convective trends will be monitored for a possible spatial extension
    of WW 325 or a new downstream WW issuance.

    DISCUSSION...Convection continues to congeal into an expansive
    mesoscale convective complex while moving southwestward across
    western/central Oklahoma and the eastern Texas Panhandle. These
    storms continue to be sustained by an upstream axis of moderate
    (2000-3000 J/kg) instability and favorable deep shear for storm
    organization. Mostly near/sub-severe wind gusts and small hail have
    been observed over the past half-hour or so as storms have lessened
    in intensity slightly. However, at least an isolated risk for
    damaging wind gusts and one-inch hail stones will persist with this
    activity as it approaches the Oklahoma City metro through 0800Z and
    the southern extent of WW 325 through roughly 0830-0930z. Beyond
    that point, it is uncertain if the magnitude of the severe threat
    will necessitate a new Severe Thunderstorm Watch issuance, and any
    lingering threat may be handled effectively by local spatial
    extensions. Convective trends will be monitored in the near term.
