The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 318
continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for severe storms should continue to diminish
over the next few hours. Additional watches are not expected.

DISCUSSION...A small MCS with an advancing cold pool continues to
travel southeastward across northwest OK. Measured wind gusts have
been in the 30-40 mph range with isolated gusts near 50 mph. The
radar presentation has been diminishing gradually as these storms
have only weak instability and storm relative inflow available. The
air mass is a bit more moist to the southeast of the storm complex,
but there is little large-scale support for re-organization. If
trends continue, the watch may be canceled prior to scheduled 10Z
expiration.
